Client service is Melissa’s favorite part of her job. Melissa grew up in Rochester, MN, graduating with an Associate degree in Applied Science from Rochester Community Technical College in 2007. She has grown up with and loved pets since childhood.
Terri L., VT
Terri graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, CO in 1974. After graduation, she worked in one of the first Animal Emergency Hospitals in Denver for 2 years as well as 2 private practices. She has loved animals all of her life. At 4 years, she started practicing bandaging methods with her own dogs and cats. In past years she has been involved in Therapy Dog work with Milo, and Agility trials with both Milo and KayCee. Terri has 5 beautiful Old World German Shepherds, 8 kitties ranging from 1 yr. to 20 years old, a Bassett Hound and a lizard.
Carissa W., VT
Carissa’s responsibilities include dental cleanings, phlebotomy, patient care and treatment, radiology, anesthesia, laboratory procedures, reception, and client education. She finds dental cleanings particularly rewarding. Carissa has an associate’s degree in veterinary technology.
Outside work, Carissa loves spending time with her family, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Melanie H., Receptionist
Melanie enjoys all animal large and small. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science with an Emphasis in Meat Animal and Companion Animal from the University of Wisconsin: River Falls in 2017. Her love for animals comes from growing up on her families red angus cattle farm outside of Lake City, MN. Melanie’s responsibilities around the clinic include assisting clients at the desk and helping our technicians and veterinarians. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
Connie graduated from University of WI-Stevens Point in 1995 with a B.S. degree in Biology and Fisheries Management and more recently completed coursework in Veterinary Technologies. She has always enjoyed helping animals and people, especially loves laboratory work and client education. She and her husband currently have a tabby cat and enjoy trail riding with their two horses.
